DNA = game over for this year, I moved to Pic St Loup!

The last week's video of DNA 9c was filmed in October! I trained hard for most of November to get back to Verdon to give DNA some serious tries! Heavy rains in late October caused the whole crag to seep for weeks to come. Unfortunately, after a few days, it was time to realize it was game over for this season on DNA, and I moved to Pic St Loup.
I had wanted to go to a crag for many years, where Seb Bouin established many 9th-grade routes, including the latest Wolf Kingdom 9b+ (c?)! I expected a lot, but the crag completely blew my mind. It could be the best crag in the world for the 9th-grade routes on limestone. Incredible rock quality, king lines and moves that feel like they were made to be climbed. I spent there 7 climbing days, mostly trying Rois du Lithium 9b, coming quite close on the very last day. I was also extremely close to flashing Beyond, which is high-end 9a (or low-level 9a+), which would have been my 2nd hardest flash ever.
A little frustrating trip spent at an amazing crag, with good company, including Lucien Martinez and master himself, Seb Bouin.
Stay tuned!
