In today’s Tips & Tricks episode on my YouTube channel, we’ll look at how to efficiently and safely clean a route from quickdraws. While it’s not a skill that will directly improve your climbing, it can be quite challenging and dangerous when dealing with overhanging routes, especially if there are no permanent quickdraws or places to tie off. In the video, we’ll show you the most efficient way to do this. However, be particularly cautious when unclipping the last piece of protection to avoid injuring yourself or the belayer in case of a swing.
