This episode is the second part of Tokyo training trip. After a couple of days, I got rid of jet-lag and I had some of the most enjoyable training sessions I remember in a long time. Training with some of the best members of Japanese team was most of all great fun. They are really easy-going, but at the same time, I learnt a lot and trained hard. The most important was the quality of the problems - the routesetters take a LOT of time and care to make their boulder problems perfect - which means tricky, complex, powerful and technical at the same time, without possibility of cheating. It is really mind-blowing.
I might have expected more parkour style but problems were still dynamic and required possibly even more precision and coordination than average World cup boulders. Thanks for the lessons, Japan!
